Attendees were carefully selected based on skill, but even so, certification was not guaranteed. The program is designed to be rigorous, requiring precision and mastery for a technique as intricate as CombLine. The training was led by the renowned Devin Wright, also known as @Devthehairdeity.
Earning Certification
Completing the CombLine training doesn’t automatically make one a certified stylist. After the immersive two-day session, participants must continue to prove their abilities. Each stylist is required to submit video evidence showcasing their application of the CombLine technique on multiple models. A panel of expert educators reviews these videos, scrutinizing every detail to ensure the work meets CombLine’s high standards.
In addition to the practical demonstrations, stylists are required to pass a comprehensive written assessment that tests their understanding of the technique’s intricacies. Only those who demonstrate exceptional skill, both in practice and theory, achieve full certification.
